Here’s where you come in:
As Project Manager you will support the National Director (ND) in ensuring that adequate safety and security measures for World Vision South Sudan are both appropriately planned for and addressed within the country context. Lead in optimizing organizational security and mitigating operational risks for ministry effectiveness by establishing security systems and mechanisms for institutionalizing an organizational culture and practice of risk management and safety. Build capacity of suitable national staff for senior security leadership roles. The overall purpose of the role is to ensure program and staff safety in delivering our promise to the most vulnerable.

Requirements include:
University Degree in Security Management, Business Administration or an equivalent.
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
Knowledge of Arabic communication skills an added advantage.
Ability to travel in country to all states and across the border for training, assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation a must.
A high level of diplomacy and networking skills is required.
Strong capacity building and facilitation skills.
Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina.
Ability to manage work life without supervision.
Ability to maintain performance expectations in psychologically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources.
