POSITION SUMMARY
The Fixed/Mobile Guard (FMG) is responsible for vehicle and pedestrian security screening, perimeter surveillance, internal mobile patrols, operation of mail screening equipment, and use of United States Government (USG) communication and web-based applications in an Emergency Operations Center.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Fixed/Mobile Guard (FMG) is responsible for vehicle and pedestrian security screening, perimeter surveillance, internal mobile patrols, operation of mail screening equipment, and use of United States Government (USG) communication and web-based applications in an Emergency Operations Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Control personnel and vehicle entry and exit of Entry Control Points
Inspect all deliveries and vehicles up to Force Protection Condition Delta per Kuwait Security Support Services Standard Operations Procedures for installation access
Control and operate U.S. Government-installed barrier devices to prevent unauthorized vehicle access
Manage military and contracted convoys at designated Entry Control Points.
Conduct inspections of personnel and vehicles using systems such as: Ion Scanners, Backscatter X-Ray machines, Under-Vehicle-Surveillance Systems, and Mobile Vehicle X-Ray Scanning machines
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Inspect all deliveries and vehicles up to Force Protection Condition Delta per Kuwait Security Support Services Standard Operations Procedures for installation access

QUALIFICATIONS
Must pass a Criminal Background Check at both the State and National (NCIC) level prior to hire
Active U.S. Secret Clearance preferred, for which a U.S. citizenship is required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have two years of combined honorable active-duty military, law enforcement, or private security experience in a contingency area
Must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military)
Must be able to pass a physical examination, meet U.S. Army height and weight operational standards (not initial recruiting standards), and pass a physical fitness test
Must be able to meet all labor requirements by the host country
Ability to qualify with M4 and pistol, and all qualifications required by the contract

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged standing, sustained patrol on foot and in a vehicle
Sustained pursuit of a suspect on foot
Dodging, crawling, climbing, and rapid ascent/descent of stairs
Perform all duties wearing duty equipment, including ballistic and CBRN personal protective equipment under adverse conditions
Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday
Performing the above requires:

Maintain sensory acuity and expression sufficient for essential communication while using PPE
Demonstrate adequate motor power, dynamic strength, range of motion, neuromuscular coordination, stamina, gross body coordination, and dexterity
Pass an annual Physical Ability Test per AR 190-56
