Country Security Manager – Port-au-Prince Haiti

Job Location: Port-au-Prince Haiti (with frequent trips to the Dominican Republic)

Salary: between 3000 and 4200 € net monthly (before income tax) Monthly Living Expense Allowance $300

Key Role and Responsibilities
The Country Security Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day security management of all  premises and project sites, ensuring permanent monitoring and assessment of the security situation in the country, referring to and implementing  technical safety management guides and protocols. He/ She will also advise the Country Director and the senior management team on all safety and security issues and provide appropriate security training and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of the department
2. Environmental and Risk Analysis
3. Development and update of Country Security plans, SOPs and contingency plans
4. Day-to-day safety management
5. Crisis management
6. Reporting
7. Training and briefing
8. Develop and maintain a security network
9. Ensuring external representation.

Qualifications and skills required:
At least 3-5 years of field experience in an unstable area; preferably in Africa, Asia or the Middle East;
Significant experience in security procedures and management;
Established communication and organizational skills;
Ability to train, mobilize and manage national and international teams;
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure;
Ability to work in an unstable and changing environment;
Be willing to work and live in remote areas under simple conditions;
Ability to be creative and independent, in the field and in the office;

Conditions: 
Salary defined by the organization salary scale according to the level of education, expertise, level of security and level of experience: between 3000 and 4200 € net monthly (before income tax)
Monthly Living Expense Allowance $300
Accommodation in guesthouse and food taken care of by organization.
Social security, mutual insurance (MSH) and repatriation assistance (SOS International) covered by organization
Transport to the mission and return ticket fully covered every 6 months (to the address specified on the employment contract)
Visa fees covered by organization
R&R every 3 months (airfare covered up to $500 + additional $200 allowance)
A week of preparation for departure including 4 days of safety training in immersion
Possibility of having a 30-minute call with a tax consultant
Psychological support (appointment with a professional)
