Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Security Specialist to provide personnel security support to a services contract in Doha, Qatar. The individual will serve as the Program Manager’s security specialist and will be responsible for the security interface with the Government and the coordination of personnel security clearances, public trust determinations, and Government vetting and badging requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage, process, and track security clearances for program personnel.
Manage, process, and track public trust determinations for program personnel.
Manage, process, and track base access and badging requirements.
Coordination with US Government security personnel for threat advisories and base access procedures.
Attend and host meetings.
Prepare reports.
Qualifications
Active in scope Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree. Associate’s degree and 5 years of experience may be substituted.
3 years of experience in US Government personnel security coordination.
Proficient written and verbal communicator.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Department of State personnel security processing.
Experience with overseas Regional Security Offices.
Working Conditions
Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
