Education/Experience/Language requirements
Education:
Master’s degree in management, international politics or equivalent or formal multi-year education in security management, such as military or police senior Command and Staff College qualification with command experience at senior level,
Current relevant Professional Certification is an advantage, e.g. in Security Management, Physical Security, Investigations, Project Management, etc.
Experience:
At least 8 years of experience and progressive roles in security management, law enforcement or national military service, of which at least 3 years should have been with the UN Security Management System and at least 2 years experience in a crisis environment while serving in the UN system.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required; fluency in other UN languages like French or Spanish or Arabic is an advantage.
