Country Security Manager (Responsable Sécurité Pays) – Niamey Niger

Key Role and Responsibilities

The Country Security Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day security management of all organizations premises and project sites, ensuring permanent monitoring and assessment of the security situation in the country, referring to and implementing organization's technical safety management guides and protocols. He/She will also advise the Country Director and the senior management team on all safety and security issues and provide appropriate security training and coaching.

Key Responsibilities
Department Management
Environmental and risk analysis
Development and updating of Country Security plans, SOPs and contingency plans
Day-to-day safety management
Crisis management
Reporting
Training and briefing
Develop and maintain a security network
Ensuring external representation

Qualifications and skills required:
At least 2-3 years of field experience in an unstable area; preferably in Africa, Asia or the Middle East;
Significant experience in security procedures and management;
Established communication and organizational skills;
Ability to train, mobilize and manage national and international teams;
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure;
Ability to work in an unstable and changing environment;
Be willing to work and live in remote areas under simple conditions;
Ability to be creative and independent, in the field and in the office;

Conditions:
Salary defined by the organization salary scale according to the level of education, expertise, level of security and level of experience: between €3200 and €4400 net monthly (before income tax)
Monthly Living Expense Allowance $300
Accommodation in guesthouse and food taken care of by organization.
Social security, mutual insurance (MSH) and repatriation assistance (SOS International) covered by organization
Transport to the mission and return ticket fully covered every 6 months (to the address specified on the employment contract)
Visa fees covered by the organization.
R&R every 3 months (airfare covered up to $500 + additional $200 allowance)
A week of preparation for departure including 4 days of safety training in immersion
Possibility of having a 30-minute call with a tax consultant
Psychological support (appointment with a professional)
