Job Location: Juba, Central Equatoria, South Sudan
Amarante International is looking for one International Senior Risk Assessor in South Soudan.
Job requirements :
• Conduct security risk assessments (SRAs) specific to a project activity or a group of activities operating in the same geographical area;
• The SRAs will provide a summary of the local security environment in the area, and will be in the context of possible impacts to project workers (international, national and local), beneficiaries and any other project affected persons;
• Security situation on the ground in all project locations monitored daily.
Prerequisites:
• Shall not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanour;
• Must be in good general health, without any condition which would interfere with the performance of duties;
• Must be physically able to perform all general patrol duties, functions and activities.
Qualifications and skills:
Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in security studies, Governance and Development, International Relation and Diplomacy, Political science or any other related course;
A Security Risk professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the International Security Risk Industry; • Current and proven subject matter expertise of the security situation in South Sudan;
At least 3 years’ experience working in South Sudan;
A demonstrated understanding of ISO 31000;
Demonstrated experience conducting security risk assessment and plans;
Experience in conducting comprehensive assessments in field sites;
Experience in stakeholder engagement required;
Fluency in English, and Arabic is an added advantage;
Ability to travel regularly and work effectively in field locations in South Sudan;
Demonstrable ability to work in a team in a varied cultural context.
