We are recruiting an Armorer in Iraq for our client who provides process and technology-based critical services to government and commercial enterprises around the world.

1) CARE for driving a healthy and compliant workforce and providing comprehensive emergency response

3) SECURE for delivering mobile and static security services, and end-to-end critical facilities management.

Report to the Department weapons program officer from DS/PSP/DEAV for all work-related technical activities.
Maintain open communications with DS/PSP/DEAV Armory for all work-related technical activities.
Repair and maintain U.S. Government issued weapons, as outlined in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 8, Vehicle and Special Protective Equipment Maintenance.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the installation of special technical equipment for Department weapons, including, but not limited to: U.S. Government-provided optical devices
Flashlights
Grenade launchers
Night vision equipment
Laser sights
Responsible for test firing all WPS weapons systems as required in the performance of their duties, on a case-by-case basis, and with approval by the DS/RSO COR. Test firing shall be conducted in coordination with a BFFOC-certified firearms instructor.

 
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess a minimum of four (4) years of military (MOS 2111, 45 Bravo, or equivalent) or law enforcement armorer experience.
Upon bio approval and before beginning work on the contract, the ARM shall:
Attend and successfully complete the NPSS training course, as outlined in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 2, Training.
Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4 or MK18 as specified by the designated TO, re-qualifying as required in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 2, Training.
Must possess valid certifications from the manufacturer or other source of instruction approved by DS/PSP/DEAV on all weapons identified in the TO.
Attend and successfully complete armorer in-brief and orientation conducted by DS/PSP/DEAV. Must possess all required certifications prior to reporting to DS/PSP/DEAV.
Obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance/Public Trust determination as identified in the TO.
Obtain and maintain access to and competence with the ILMS and SILMS applications, with the appropriate user roles, to include mandatory initial training, and periodic refresher training as needed.
Must possess the ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable TO.
