Job Description
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:Ensure the effective implementation of all operational security procedures within the hotel.
Assist the Security Manager in management and security oversight of all contractors, suppliers or vendors working on property.
To maintain a close dialogue and relationship with local security authorities.
Ensure that security officers provide a courteous and professional service to all customers, staff, vendors and suppliers.
To monitor the car-park system and ensure its smooth running and security
To vet the daily functions and VIP arrival list and to ensure that security officers are deployed as appropriate
To account for the master keys of the property and their movements as well as key control in general.
To keep the hotel senior management informed on all matters relating to the Security aspects of the hotel on a daily basis.
Review and suggest adjustment to process based on current/future environments.
Qualifications
Certified in Security by local Security authority
One year operating experience in a hotel Security department
Has knowledge in firefighting equipment, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors and basic knowledge of occupational health and safety.
