Job Summary: The Guard Shift Leader will lead, direct, and supervise a team of guards performing security services. The Guard Shift Leader oversees the performance of internal and external guard services to include but not limited to, monitoring Access Control Points (ACPs) and Entry Control Points (ECPs), conducting vehicle and personnel searches, performing perimeter and tower security, and providing mobile armed escort services/protective security operations

Duties/Responsibilities:
Some of your duties may include: Ensuring all assigned guard posts are staffed and monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel
Maintaining detailed records of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities
Overseeing the monitoring of Access Control Points (ACPs) and Entry Control Points (ECPs) with a focus on proactive detection, identification, reporting, and prevention of the entry of unauthorized personnel and contraband
Overseeing the conducting of vehicle searches including operating traffic control systems at search lanes, including vehicle count management, identification for Random Anti-terrorism Measure (RAM) Searches, and execution of comprehensive vehicle searches
Overseeing the performing personnel searches following all requirements, operational protocols, and showing adaptability to emerging security challenges
Overseeing the performing perimeter and tower security, to prevent the entry of unauthorized personnel and detect, identify, and report threats to the perimeter fencing/wall, building, or structure
Overseeing the providing of mobile armed escort services/protective security operations for transport of military and civilian personnel conducting administrative duties, contracted services, site inspections, base-to-base movements, and official liaison missions
Interfacing directly with the U.S. Government supervisory personnel who shall be designated as the company POC

Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:
Must possess U.S. Citizenship
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must possess valid passport and driver’s license with clean record
Must possess active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Clearance
Must possess ten (10) years of relevant security experienceFour (4) of these years must be military experience with an honorable discharge
Must have achieved the rank of military E7
Must possess one (1) year at the military platoon sergeant level or civilian equivalent
Must possess experience in physical security and access control measures
Must possess weapons proficiency with ability to qualify on various weapons systems including the M4 and M9
Must possess ability to pass Physical Fitness Test (PFT) including push-ups and a timed 1.5-mile run
