Job location: Onboard Private Yacht ( Spain)
WANTED: a deckhand with security, logistics, medical and golf experience to join an 80m private yacht!
When the vessel is used for the 4-5 months in the summer the role is split between 40% deck work, 30% security and 30% logistics.
The yacht has a fantastic home birth during the winter enabling a good work life balance. During the winter months you will be working on deck and able to progress your career by going on courses etc.
The candidate should be very methodical and good at time management and organising logistics. You will be communicating with drivers, airport security, and organising logistics including rounds of golf.
You will also be involved in golf activities with the guests so a good level of golf is expected.
There is some good longevity on board and the Captain likes to train the team up to be able to do every job so that they can work towards being the Bosun and to have at least 2-3 years on board regardless.
The western owner likes to see familiar faces and longevity is rewarded with annual pay reviews, discretionary bonuses and the potential to increase leave.
