KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of the whole security organization in Egypt (onshore & offshore) and single security point of contact.
Assist and advise the Project Team and Country Management in all security matters.
Close relationships with Subsea7 Partners & Contractors Security Representatives during project for synergy and optimization.
Identify, quantify and assess security threats to company's business across the country to deliver proactive actionable advice on security risk treatment, appropriate and cost-effective measures to reduce risk exposure.
Ensure that all mitigation measures are in place to provide a high level of security for all personnel deployed in country, all Subsea7 & Partners assets and contractors assets, for onshore & offshore operations in compliance with relevant security Policies.
Supervision for the Security Coordinator based in Alexandria and Other Locations in Egypt for the security measures implementation in sites within Egypt (access control, perimeter integrity, CCTV, SIA Guards SOPs, ..)
Regular liaison with Subsea7 Security Corporate to ensure compliance for all operations and all personnel deployed in Egypt regarding Groups security policies.
Responsible to organise, lead and manage the security resources to provide support on all security matters.
Ensure that the security system is implemented at regional level; additionally, overseeing Cairo area.
Ensure that the projects are fully prepared on security matters and ensure proper follow up of project security issues and close monitoring for personnel transit during offshore mobilization.
In the event of a crisis, activate the crisis cell, supervise the implementation of recommendations as set out in security & evacuation plans and follow the Emergency Response Procedures and transmit relevant reports.
High level of vigilance with continuous watch, analysis & assessment for the security situation (offshore & onshore for Piracy, militancy, criminal activities, kidnapping...) with a focus on potential terrorism threat resurgence during the local project(s) Execution phase.
Regular procedures review to ensure Security set-up matches with current threats identified.
Preparation of specific documents as Project security plan, Project security assessment, Standard Operating Procedures, Evacuation Plan, Security induction and necessary documents required by the potential Tenders (pre-qualification, technical, commercial & pre award phases).
Ensure security standards alignment and interface with all entities part of the project, Client, Alexandria and Hurghada Port Authorities, Vessels (Captains, SSO), Security Companies, Subsea 7, Subcontractors, and Contractors.
CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Position located: Cairo with regular transit to Alexandria and Hurghada (estimated allocation time: 50% in Cairo, ~ 50% Alexandria and Hurghada).

Promote a high level of security culture for all staff and organize a yearly refresh workshop for all members designated in the Local Kidnap Management Team (LKMT) for theoretical guideline alignment (Corporate & Subsidiary level).
Develop a security intelligence network, collect information, analyze the security situation and produce security report on regular basis.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
15 years minimum of military background with operational experience in any Government Security Forces.
10 years minimum of operational experience in security environment (Oil & Gas sector including minimum of 2 years offshore).
Experienced profile with large O&G projects achieved in security management and knowledge of International security standards (VPSHR, ISPS, IMCA).
Maritime security experience - ISPS certified (Company Security Officer & Port Facility Security Officer).
Crisis Management trained (Kidnapping management training course).
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Operational Security network including connection with the main Embassies security representatives in Cairo and Alexandria.
Ability to interface with client’s security representatives, local and National authorities.
PERSONAL SKILLS
