Job Description
We are seeking for K9 Advisors to provide services in support of upcoming task orders located in Central America and other Western Hemisphere countries such as Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Jamaica, Guyana, Suriname, and the Eastern Caribbean.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze and report on the needs to counter the cultivation of poppy.
• Assist in the efforts to increase the number of manual eradication and community prosperity missions conducted every year.
• Support efforts to establish and maintain a permanent law enforcement presence in specific regions.
• Defines and documents all related efforts, including a logistics integration work plan, mission schedules, site-specific considerations, work requirements, milestones, and support operations.
• Develops clear, accurate, and detailed requirements for the successful integration of training, infrastructure renovation, and logistics support systems.
• Facilitates the flow of accurate and timely information among all relevant stakeholders. A monthly written status update will be required to document progress and any issues of concern.
• Monitors and evaluates the progress of all related efforts to ensure compliance with relevant terms and conditions.
• Provide insight and advice to ensure that rigorous monitoring of approved activities is exercised on an ongoing basis.
• Recommends approval, as required, for deviations from approved plans, schedules, and scopes of work based on the progress of related initiatives and the political environment.
• Local and international travel may be required.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen.
MRPT certification.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in international affairs, police science, or other related field and/or graduation from a national law enforcement academy and special certification/qualifications that demonstrate the candidate is a subject matter expert in a specified field.
FSI level 3/3 Spanish, English level 5/5.
Twenty (20) years of demonstrated relevant experience to include: Ten (10) years working overseas coordinating implementing strategic initiatives and delivering foreign police training,
Ten (10) years of field work supervising and conducting complex tactical operations (U.S. based and transnational), Supervisory/management experience at a police precinct or equivalent federal, state, or local law enforcement or military entity;
Three (3) years of experience assisting foreign police through advising and training of tactical police units.
Experience working with law enforcement in Central and South America.
Experience in managing program resources, project planning, analysis, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Experience in K9 units.
