Hiring organization: Control Risks
Job location: Libya , Tripoli
DescriptionWe are looking for experienced Security and Risk consultants with particular experience in the oil & gas industry to join our team in Libya.
Responsibilities:
· To provide the client operating in the oilfields with HSE advice to conduct business in a low-profile manner and which provides optimum protection of its employees.
· To ensure that the client employees' risk is minimized and managed.
· To conduct HSE briefings as required by the company standards.
· To implement guidelines of best practices for client operations in the Oilfields.
· To cascade information to all personnel as and when required.
· To liaise With the Libya Advisors on a daily basis to ensure efficient running of the HSE function throughout the Oilfields where client employees are operating.
· To assess all potential hazardous situations in the oilfields and then define prevention and mitigation plans for identified hazards using the companies standards and policies.
· To perform inspections and site assessments of all client locations to make sure that all existing and future locations have an optimum standard of HSE to enable business to be conducted in a safe and secure environment.
· To assist in the review of evacuation plans for oilfield locations.
Continually review Emergency Response Procedures (ERPS) in line with the existing threat level and make recommendations to the Libya Advisor as necessary.

Requirements
Experience
Previous oil field experience in management
military background and or corporate experience
Qualifications
Formal management, military or police education from a recognized education establishment
Physical
Fit for remote postings
Languages
Excellent English & Arabic
