About the team

The Corporate Security team is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Stripes. We are a multi-disciplinary team with a global footprint. Our remit covers delivery of Security Operations, Security Technology & Infrastructure, Business Continuity & Crisis Management, Executive Protection and Threat & Protective Intelligence. This role reports directly to the Head of Executive Protection.

What you’ll do

You will serve as an experienced subject matter expert in the field of Executive Protection, with keen critical thinking skills and a demonstrated track record of successful full-cycle management of high stakes and complex cross-functional projects. You will assist with running and scaling out the programs for Corporate Security, iterating over the coming years, working for a rapidly growing company in a fast-paced environment. You will develop and implement security and logistical plans for residential and corporate operations, as well as for domestic and international travel, including but not limited to, the appearances of senior executives and other high ranking team members.

Minimum requirements7+ years of full-time leadership and extensive operational field experience in the field of Executive Protection
Prior experience building successful full-time, corporate Executive Protection programs
Experience managing vendors to drive operational improvements and iteration, such as contracts/SLA’s/KPIs/QBRs/MSAs/SOWs
Demonstrated success in full-cycle management of high stakes and complex cross functional projects
Global scale experience with security and executive logistics management, as well as pre-operational planning
Standard Operating Procedure development and documentation
Ability to synthesize data and create process and procedure improvements to advocate for the business needs of the program
You are expected to come into the Oyster Point office in South San Francisco at least 2x/week
Travel will be required, sometimes at last minute notice

Preferred qualifications:

4+ years of private sector Executive Protection experience, preferably in the start-up or technology spaceExperience working with a wide variety of Key Stakeholders including senior level executive assistants, Legal and Finance representatives, and other Corporate Security personnel such as Regional Security Managers and Systems & Infrastructure team members
Advanced medical training
Technology focused mindset
Experience implementing crisis management plans for senior executives
