We are looking for a talented Security Coordinator to join our specialized ABO SECURITY team for our SAFETY/SECURITY area in San Luis Potosi, MEXICO.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
-Manages initiatives within a specific functional area or program of the Cummins regional safety team.
-Implements the strategy for the functional area; leads cross-functional and cross-business unit projects; communicates plans, strategy, and execution at all levels; identifies and prioritizes focus and programs.
-Manages activities and budgets according to the annual operating plan.
-Develops and leads teams to assess needs, implement and integrate security programs; directs education and cultural awareness training for council and specific functional area work group; oversees internal and external controls; runs pilot programs to address critical requirements.
-Leads security for events affecting Cummins entities, employees and corporate activities; serves as a subject matter expert for Cummins business units and corporate entities; Coordinates with business unit personnel responsible for security to implement new corporate policies and initiatives.
-Liaises with local, state, and federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies; manages and coordinates with vendors, partners, and consultants to develop and manage security intelligence and programs; manages supplier contracts; identifies potential security partners based on market knowledge.
-Monitors cross-functional reporting key performance indicators and metrics for benchmarking and measurement; presents results and recommendations to leadership.
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:
-Industrial Engineer, Mechanical, Computer Systems or related.
-Leading different teams: (Closed Circuit Television Surveillance Team; Operational Chiefs, Transportation Executives)
-Lead specific Technologies of Security Projects, ensuring their proper functioning: (Access Control System (ProWatch or other similar); Camera Systems (Ocularis or other similar)
-Knowledge and management of certification needs: CTPAT and OEA
-Networking with external security agencies and committees
-Orient leadership in terms of security needs, etc.
-Office handling
-Knowledge of new technologies related to asset security controls.
