Employment Type: Part-Time Contractor(1) Pay rate will be determined by the Candidate’s experience and competitiveness relative to other qualified applicants
End-client is a US Oil and Gas Company seeking armed security professionals to secure oil rig platforms at various locations throughout the Gulf of Mexico. Ideal candidates are prior US Military veterans with a SOF background who have amphibious / maritime operational experience.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Provide armed static security on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico for a US Oil & Gas company
– Security professional will work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for length of rotation
– Rotation: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off

– Must possess current STCW95
– DD-214 with Honorable Discharge
– Active TWIC card
– Must have valid US passport with a minimum of 12 months until expiration
– Only open to US Military veterans who have experience providing armed protective security in amphibious / maritime environments
– Must be physically fit and able to pass a physical fitness test
– Must be able to occasionally run or sprint, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Candidates from a SOF background from any US military service
– Have prior Oil and Gas experience aboard vessels or oil rigs
– Must possess current STCW95
