REF: Security Manager & Operations Support Rotator - Somalia , Chelsea Village
Job Purpose:
Main responsibility as Chelsea Village Security Manager:The Guard Force is to be controlled by the HNW Chelsea Village Security Manager (CVSM), who will report to the CV General Manager on all matter’s security directly. An office will be provided for the CVCM in the vicinity of the Main Gate. This office should be separate from CV’s and Hart’s general operations and reception areas.
Stand in leave cover for the Operations Manager:Responsible for the overall planning and management of PSD teams including training, staffing, hours worked, client interface, identifying future business opportunities and addressing internal issues before they can impact on the client whilst keeping the Country Manager informed. Generate revenue to meet corporate target as a minimum.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage access to and egress from CV through the Main and Rear Gates, including the CV visitors pass system, and lead a QRF in case of incidents.
Continually train and evaluate the Emergency Response Plan for CV and provide recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Provide the C3 hub for all security matters within CV and be an integral part of the Village’s management team.
Serve as the direct point of contact for the CV General Manager on all security matters, attend client meetings as required, and keep HNW’s Country Operations Support Manager and CV GM informed of significant matters, providing both with a daily report by 18:00hrs.
Manage CV access control ingress/egress figures and conduct inspections of the facility to ensure the integrity of the perimeter, the state of guards, parking and car passes, and any areas or facilities of particular concern.
Conduct guest and visitor security and safety briefs, ensure that weapons and ammunition are cleaned and accounted for daily, and complete appraisals on guard force staff on a three-monthly basis.
Evaluate performance against the KPIs agreed with CV, report monthly to CV General Manager and HNW Country Manager, and ensure that the guard force’s radio and mobile communications are tested regularly.
Manage the pass system for personnel and vehicles entering and leaving CV and control, brief, and direct CV guard force, QRF, and any additional armed support through CV Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
Ensure that HNW guard force and visitors conform to the Health and Safety regime within the Village and manage and ensure that the guard force always follows health and safety rules.
Use different means of communication when performing duties and manage the client relationship with the CV General Manager daily.
Perform checks daily, inspections weekly, audits twice annually, and corrective action as required.

At least 3 year PSC experience in Iraq or Afghanistan. Somalia preferable.
Proven defensive driving in hostile areas
Competency in weapons handling
Close Protection Qualification
FREC or equivalent qualification
Driver’s license and clean record of driving
Physically and mentally fit
Clear Criminal record
