As the Global Security Advisor, you will primarily design, develop and implement security responses structures for World Vision International (WVI) Disasters Management (DM) - Humanitarian Emergency Affairs (HEA) response operations in medium to high-risk conflict and fragile contexts in alignment with WVI security policies, procedures, and working security framework during deployments/missions. This will allow WVI to deliver humanitarian aid & relief programs securely and in a timely manner while maximizing staff safety.
When directed/designated by the Response Security Group (RSG) Director you will also provide direct and indirect strategic and operational security support across the WVI partnership to support Regional and National Senior Management Teams’ with; Critical Security Incident and/or Crisis Management, Investigations, Civil-Military-Police Coordination/Access Engagement, Context Analysis, and Technical/Operational Security Advice and Training.

Requirements include:
Master’s degree in business, international development, social services, or other related areas.
Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Strategic Studies, International Relations, or Emergency Management. (General Management studies also considered)
Cumulative 10+ years of proven professional work within the sector considered in lieu of academic qualification
Sound knowledge of INGO security practices with proven experience in Security Risk Assessments (SRA), security planning, and crisis management in the humanitarian context
Previous experience in the professional security arena (INGO, Corporate, Military, Law Enforcement, or Emergency Services)
Must demonstrate language skills, being fluent in French, and/or Arabic
Compensation:For positions filled in the United States, the typical Annual Salary range for this role is $81,368.35 to $101,710.44 USD. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and geographic location.
