Description

This is a great opportunity to be part of a high performing team in winning and delivering Protective Services engagements across the EMEA region. You will actively contribute to Control Risks reputation for excellence in operational delivery of protective services engagements. Alongside this you will support fast moving campaigns - developing effective and long-lasting client relationships, specifically focused on the event security business.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Operational delivery
Manage Protective Services engagements and tasks throughout Europe, Middle East, and Africa
Deliver Protective Services tasks across the region, with a focus on event security management and consultancy engagements
In conjunction with your team members ensure all engagements and tasks are set up correctly from an administrative, contractual and billing perspective
Manage and develop a pool of experienced operators and providers throughout the region
Set up and support client, departmental and intercompany meetings related to Protective Services opportunities
Assist in the vetting process of new operators and providers across the region
Business development
Provide first line commercial support in all aspects of business development to ensure that business meets budgetary targets
Attend client meetings and develop effective client relationships to contribute to Control Risks reputation for operational excellence
Support/lead on business development opportunities within key sectors as required
Support the wider embedded CSC business through the development of PS engagements into opportunities for longer term engagements.
Ability to develop high quality capability statements and provide support our marketing with SME input
Support/lead the complete bid management process, including scoping of opportunities and writing winning proposals
Additional requirements
Regular liaison with other key Control Risks offices, service lines and Protective Services teams
On call outside of normal office hours, no objection working evenings/weekends when required
Available to travel across the region at short notice if required

Requirements
Essential

Working in a corporate business environmentGood written and oral presentation skills
Excellent administrative skills
IT skills - Advanced computer literacy (MS Office) and able to maintain online database and intranet platform for use throughout the region
Ability to assimilate large quantities of new information and work efficiently under tight and often multiple deadlines
Good project management skills and ability to work under pressure and prepare tasks on very short notice
Proven track-record as a team player, but also ability to work autonomously
Able to manage security consultants in operational roles and fill in / cover for short periods
Experience of a role managing and prioritising a high workload and working to tight deadlines
Understanding of basic commercial metrics - revenue, gross and trading profit


Preferred
Able to conduct security reviews and make and deliver recommendations to clients
Able to conduct close protection tasks, including training high risk environments
Deployment experience in Europe and Africa
Foreign language skills; French/Arabic/Italian/German speaker
Experience within risk management organisations including the military, police, security service, event industry and/or commercial sector


Qualifications (preferred)
SIA License (Close Protection)
Counter-surveillance and behaviour detection
Security and incident management planning
