PSD Team Leader

Hiring Organization: GardaWorld
Job Location: Iraq ,Basra


Rotation
6 Weeks on, 6 Weeks off, subject to operational requirements

Role Requirements: 
5 Years Military or police force experience
Must have 2 years PSC hostile environment experience within the last 3 years
Minimum Level 3 medical qualifications such as Qualsafe’s FREC Level 3
SIA BTEC approved close protection course qualified, proven through relevant certification.
In date Disclosure or CRC.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physically fit and smartly presented.
Fully IT literate in MS Word and Excel
Fluent written and spoken English
Competent in Navigation/GPS/Tracking system

Services
Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of security services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of GardaWorld Regional Management Team, Basra. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include:

Team Management
Daily Management, operational training, conduct, discipline and welfare of host country and Expat team members.
Leadership, to include the command, motivation and maintenance of cohesion of the team to provide excellence of security provision in line with the Operations managers intent
Close supervision and mentoring of all host country team members
Responsible for fostering individual team members professional development
Contribute to the long term retention of host country and expat team members.
Maintain all personal company issued weaponry, equipment and clothing to highest standards.
Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of team issued equipment, weapons and vehicles according to company SOP’s
Maintain highest level of Operation Security (OPSEC) standards whilst on duty.
Administration, to include preparation of mission paperwork, routine reports and returns, risk assessments and leave plots.
Communications to include the use of communications equipment, briefing skills and report writing.
To provide Security escort and close protection of to and at project designated sites.
Effective and sustainable planning, preparation, execution and post mission procedures of APT operations in accordance with SOP’s
Close protection skills, to include instructional ability to train the team members in TTP’s, weapon skills, driving skills and tactical situation appreciation and awareness.
Undertaking any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
