Responsibilities
The Security Consultant continuously monitors and assesses the security situation in the country and CCR´s AoR, reports to the Country Director and the CCR HQ, and develops and implements security management guidelines and protocols. He/she also provides security advice and training to the field staff based in Mukachevo. In the event of any safety and security-related incidents in the AoR, he/she notifies the Country Director and HQ and establishes a contingency response to ensure the safety of all mission personnel, both local and expatriate.

Responsibilities

Conduct risk/threat assessments throughout the AoR.
Develop, review and updates mission security, contingency plans, security instructions, emergency contact list and security and safety protocols, adapt them to local situation, mentor and train the field staff based in Mukachevo.
Prepare regular security briefings and reports for the field staff based in Mukachevo and the CCR HQ.
Coordinate and ensure all necessary security arrangements for local and expatriate field staff.
Prepare security arrangements for CCR office in Mukachevo, coordinates and implements the provision of security equipment for the mission´s premises for cases of various threats.
Regularly monitor and verify incident reports related to the security situation, monitor government and local government resources.
Establish and maintain contact with relevant local authorities in the AoR.
Support logistics as required.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency operations in Ukraine.
Extensive experience in security management and procedures combined with solid background in military, police or security specialization.
Perfect knowledge of Ukrainian language (native level) and the local security situation in the CCR´s AoR.
Demonstrated track record in implementation of security and contingency plans for international organizations.
Excellent written and spoken English.
