Our embedded service allows our consultants to be integrated into the client’s organisation and provide our service from their site. We are experiencing demanding growth across our embedded programmes and are seeking to build our database of consultants in Nigeria.
We are seeking security experts for full time roles in Nigeria, to deliver high quality reporting, covering but not limited to areas around security-risk, intelligence, operations, and political risk.

A typical job description would include the following:
Continuously identify and report on security risks - recognising that risks may emanate from political, economic, labour or social factors - and take appropriate measures to minimise them.
Serve as the senior security advisor for all security risk management and crisis management strategies to our client's senior management team.
Develop and guide the wider security team and act as a liaison between operational teams in Nigeria and the Client's Global Security department.
Evolve and maintain the security risk management processes and report to the Client’s senior management.
Maintain and evolve a security management plan and any other relevant security documentation and ensure appropriate area or operations specific SOPs are developed, implemented and complied with.
Continuously monitor and assess the threat environment and inform the senior management team and other relevant parties through weekly security reports and weekly meetings or on an ad-hoc basis when required.
Ensure an effective journey management structure is in place, including clearance, monitoring and tracking of the Client’s vehicles, and a successful communications and response system.
Quality control/quality assurance of Nigerian security provider(s).
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with local government officials, emergency services including Nigerian GSF, and third parties.
Complete assessments and documents such as:
Security Vulnerability Assessments of sites, offices, routes and accommodations
Journey management and area/office specific SOPs
Incident and medical contingency plans
Hibernation, relocation and evacuation plans
Requirements
A minimum bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, regional studies, or a related discipline; master’s degree strongly preferred
Broad knowledge of geopolitical affairs, and global awareness of influences on business goals and strategies
Attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate security trends which may have an impact on the organisation, extending to environment and people
The ability to compile concise and accurate reporting, using the appropriate language for its audience
Work well under pressure in moments of emergency response
Strong client focus and the ability to build and maintain relationships
Excellent IT skills, in MS office, and confident to learn new systems
A team player who works professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
An excellent understanding of client and business confidentiality
Cultural awareness and ability to work alongside a global team
Proactive and confident in articulating ideas with peers across the organisation
Ability to demonstrate resilience and perseverance in difficult situations
