Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Security Specialist located in Songkhla, Thailand through 11 October 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
This position will provide tactical and strategic security-specific support and expertise for operational requirements including the securing of gates and perimeters, staffing of reception desks and conducting patrols.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
1. Implement ISPS (International Shipping and Port Security) Code requirements for CTEP’s operating ports and offshore operations, and Chevron Thailand Site Specific Security Plans.

1.1. Audit and/or revise ISPS Code Security plans as a result on non-conformities.
2. Report and record the performance of the contract security force in Songkhla (SKL) and Nakon Si Thammarat (NST) facilities.
3. Enhance security awareness and vigilance of CTEP and contract personnel working in SKL, NST, and offshore by orientation and training.
4. Liaise with local police, Royal Thai Navy, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) squad for related emergencies.
5. Obtain security intelligence especially within SKL and NST areas which may have negative impacts to the Company.
6. Support CTEP Facility Security Officers to meet Security of Personnel and Assets (SPA) OE process requirements.
7. Conduct security investigations.
8. Conduct hotel safety and security inspection & evaluation.



Technical Expertise:

1. Qualification of security guards in high positions.
2. Experience in relevant security business and industry. Strong performance of the security guard force is required.
3. Able to effectively communicate in English both writing and speaking.
4. Effective coordination and communication across different disciplines and organizations.
5. Have experiences in investigation processes and also investigation reports
6. Demonstrate Chevron Way behaviors.
