Security Coordinator
Position Summary: 


Perform security functions at a government radar site in support of a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and government assets on the installation.
.
Responsibilities: 

Primary direct liaison between radar site and US Embassy or Consulate RSO.
Provide regular situation reports to PAE through PMO.
Provides and establishes security guidelines for PAE personnel living quarters.
Ensures all personnel working on site or living quarters properly vetted.
Primary maintenance and control of use and deployment of 2 site vehicles.
Develop site emergency evacuation plan to include aviation assets.
Vetting of local vendors.
Establish regulate OPSEC plan on and off-site.
Ensure no personal weapons.
Provide security/escort for visitors to site from airport and local accommodations.
Provide recommendations for visitor quarters.
Provide and control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facilities and ensure compliance with visitor regulations.
Inspect and control access of materials into facilities.
Conduct security checks of assigned facilities and areas.
Complete compliance and safety inspections in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Maintain logs as directed.
Detect security incidents and report as directed per leadership IAW PWS and international, US, government and local requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.


Qualifications:  

Three (3) years related experience working in a customer service/security environment at a government / military installation.
Must be bi-lingual in Spanish and English
Prefer military/INS/CBP/Border Patrol background
Must have strong fluency in Spanish (reading, writing and speaking)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Valid driver's license and passport
Active Interim/Secret Clearance with ability to maintain
Ability to successfully pass SOUTHCOM medical requirements and maintain for duration of deployment.
Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide)
Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders
Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds of material or equipment


EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent
