Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Specialty Trainer– CMD/IEDD will be the Team Lead’s principal trainer and mentor for Conventional Munitions Disposal (CMD) and Improvised Explosive Device Defeat (IEDD) training and capacity building task order requirements.
Qualifications:
· Experience as senior trainer to a foreign security partner with directly related experience in capacity building.
· Recent experience (EOD unit) while deployed to a combat, peacekeeping, or other contingency operation.
· Minimum of eleven years U.S. or NATO military explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) occupational specialty at the O-5 level.
· Minimum certification as International Mine Action Service (IMAS) EOD Level 3 or other internationally recognized equivalent. [EOD certification and competency standards are spelled out in IMAS 9.30.]
· Demonstrated experience conducting EOD planning and operations in austere environments.
