Description
This job is an advert for speculative CVs only.The Security Risk Operator (SRO) will form part of the security operations center team and help to continually identify, evaluate, and monitor risks that could affect the security and safety of our clients. The SRO is responsible for managing and responding to incidents and coordinating affective responses.
The SRO will also have the opportunity to enter our Risk Specialist Graduate program: a modular mentoring and on-the-job training program run over 12+ months to achieve Risk Advisor level.
Requirements
Security operations center watchkeeper:
Follow response protocols in a timely manner in regard to incidents, alarms, notifications,
Operate communication systems; IP based telephone system, call logging and data entry, multi-channel radio communications
Manage incidents from the SOC and coordinate responses
Deploy in support of responses on the ground as required
Guyana information service:
Monitor and analyze country wide events to identify and assess threats to specific international operations, assets, and personnel
Utilize several open-source data platforms to gather information to distill into actionable intelligence
Monitor social media on a regular basis for threats and security-related intelligence with regard to risks
Assist with production of specific briefings or presentations
Provide email notifications of threats based on geographies and updating information platforms
