Position: Operations Manager
Rotation: 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off subject to operational requirements

Role Requirements
Essential

Experienced in the management of armed mobiles and static security operations.
Capable of contingency planning and adapting techniques at short notice to match changes in the environment.
A minimum of 7 years exemplary military, police or law enforcement experience.
A minimum of 2 years Iraq experience in a similar position on a project of similar size and complexity.
Excellent diplomatic and communication skills and prior experience of private security company operations within a high-risk environment. Capable of managing a 24/7 Local Guard Force including shift patterns.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with liaison, briefing and reporting at all levels
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of software, able to execute multiple tasks concurrently and possess superlative time management skills.
Attended and passed an accredited CP course
In possession of in date FPOS-I or MIRA qualification

Services

Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of ops support to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of EU, Baghdad.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the management, training and operational control of the Mobile personnel assigned to support the Authority in Iraq ensuring that the project members meet operational and training standards and fully comply with Project SOPs. In addition provides liaison with Authority and its clients for all daily operational issues related to Mobile Security.

Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include:

Full management accountability for operational aspects of delivery of the contract in Iraq.
Journey Management oversight on all client moves.
Overseeing effective training in line with agreed Training Directives and priorities.
Maintaining Authority standards during contract delivery.
Management accountability/responsibility for all contract equipment.
Maintaining and building upon the operational and functional relationship with the client.
Provide guidance to the client on security related matters as required.
Liaise with other agencies as required in support of contract delivery and operational requirements.
Undertaking any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
