Ensure the delivery of products and services (scheduled services and on-demand services) by providing a rapid and credible contextual analysis of the local security situation, in accordance with internal delivery standards and policies.
Facilitate regional roundtables on the security of the NGO community.
Manage a small operational team, including supervision of national staff.
Assist the country office in establishing an active information network of NGOs, the United Nations, the armed forces and other national and international actors in the region.
Participate in various coordination meetings and forums related to humanitarian assistance.
Assist NGOs in developing their own security management capacities by providing sound advice, reviewing policy documents, conducting site security investigations and assisting in crisis management coordination.
Effectively represent, promote and protect INSO's mandate of independence, impartiality and neutrality.

Job Requirements:
Fluent French (compulsory) and working knowledge of English (oral and written)
Master's level training or experience in a relevant field
Experience in a post-conflict/emergency environment in the humanitarian sector
Excellent writing, analytical and attention to detail skills – the position involves a lot of editing and proofreading work.
Strong understanding of the principles and practices of humanitarian action, risk management and NGO security

Formateur expérimenté en matière de sécurité et de sûreté possédant à la fois une expérience universitaire et une expérience pratique dans le service militaire antérieur ou forces de l'ordre, seront considérées.
Capacité à travailler dans une équipe soudée, multiculturelle et pour obtenir des résultats en respectant les dates limites.
Caractéristiques souhaitablesUne année d’expérience en République Centrafricaine – idéalement dans un rôle de gestionnaire sécurité des ONG ou équivalent – et une bonne compréhension du contexte.
Parcours professionnel qui reflète une expérience dans les domaines de la sécurité et civil.
Expérience dans la liaison des ONG avec les forces armées et les groupes armés (CMCOORD).
Expérience en renforcement de capacité et formation du personnel
Expérience antérieure dans un rôle similaire en ONG
Bonne compréhension du mandat et des services INSO.

12-month contract. Monthly salary of € 4,550 per month, 4 calendar days of annual leave per month worked, 7 days of R&R every 2 months with an indemnity of € 1,250 accommodation, global medical coverage (excluding the United States) and life insurance included, € 200,000.
