Job Description

We are seeking a Security Specialist to join our team in Kurdistan, Iraq. To partner with our client and SP managers to ensure all client needs are being met on a security standpoint. Liaison with local authorities and client on incident investigation that will affect our operations. Work with all subcontractors to insure that they are meeting all security requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact for Exterran & its Sub-Contractors project related security issues.
Liaison with all subcontractors to ensure security compliance
Implements and conducts employee training for internal and external security compliance
Inspects and evaluates facilities and properties owned by Exterran to ensure security compliance
Participates in daily production and planning meetings with top site management to provide support with safety and security related issues.
Prepares and maintains security and emergency related response plans for Exterran & its sub-contractors that align with existing PPCL Security and emergency response plans
Investigate major incidents by obtaining information from various sources and analyzing data, recommend process adjustments to decrease potential recurrence.
Security Risk Management, Experience in crisis prevention, monitoring, response and management.
Provides regular updates, weekly security summaries & reports to PPCL Security Manager
Attends PPCL Security meetings when requested
Provides detailed information regarding security incidents both within site and external to site to PPCL Security Manager as soon as is practicable. Speed is of the essence in order to determine further mitigating actions to prevent further or future safety & security repercussions
Manage EXTERRAN Private Security Contractors (e.g. GardaWorld, Crisis24) operations/issues within site. To include security & assurance of PSC’s Armoury & contents.
Provides oversight and liaison for all Exterran & Sub-Contractor major logistical deliveries and provides relevant details and advance notice of such deliveries to PPCL Security, HSE, and Supply Chain
Continuous monitoring and reporting on project security activities
Communicate with local authorities and security forces especially the Asayesh and OPF
Responsible for the security coordination and information flow for all Transportation of Material deliveries to the Job Site.
Ensure our sub-contractors properly communicate transportation moves to the local security Asayish authorities / communities and is aligned with the destination Social Performance team. Engage with the Transporters and their land transportation plan to ensure the security measures are adequately covered with regards to Checkpoints, Asayish and Oil Police Force support.
Share Incident information with Transporters and recommend / coordinate necessary mitigation measures.
Undertake regular refresh of journey/land transport plan and maintain local intelligence on any changes. JMP (Journey Management Plan) is to be refreshed on a regular basis giving details of the route so that the Pearl team has enough info. that they need to share with the local mayors, as part of the Project Security Plan and is inclusive of Social Performance impact considerations
Review incident investigation reports
Make recommendations on security policy according to the local landscape
Prepares brief weekly management reports

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field

You will have minimum 5 year background in law enforcement, military, or Public Affairs and Services. Willingness to work at our site in a rotation of 2 days off, 12 days @ site
