Close Protection Agent – Job Description
As a Close Protection Agent, you will be part of a Security Operations team working closely with the Principal, Protective Security Division, and cross-functional teams to ensure the security & safety of the executive, whether at home, work, or traveling worldwide. Ideal candidates are experienced executive protection professionals who prioritize customer service, loyalty, discretion, and teamwork. Successful candidates will offer a high level of experience in discrete protective security operations while demonstrating exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct logistical planning and operational support in connection with executive protection operations
Provide day-to-day executive protection services
Travel frequently in support of protective operations, both domestically and internationally, as needed and often on short notice
Assume responsibility for the safety of Principals at all times during your shift, including personal security, privacy, and confidentiality of business and personal matters
Advise Principals on security measures as needed
Remain aware of active, potential and developing threats against the Principals
Assess risk and mitigate threats on a consistent basis
Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner for security transport of Principals and assets
Respond to emergencies and render aid in accordance with training and experience
Participate in periodic training on pertinent security-related skills and topics
Assist with coordinating activities, transportation, changes in travel plans, and other requests of the Principals
Plan routes to and from a variety of points of destinations, e.g., meetings, conventions, travel, etc.
Be prepared to act as liaison with local, state, and federal police, fire and medical emergency agencies as required.

A demonstrated history of effective conflict resolution skills
Education and ExperienceA high school diploma is required
An associate degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school is preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an Operational and logistics environment is required
Dispatch experience with executive transportation is preferred
Multi-lingual and multi-cultural skills are preferred
Legal entitlement to work in UK
Military or Law Enforcement experience is preferred
Applicable licenses are required
