The Role

As an Executive Protection Specialist, you will be tasked with conducting close protection for executive level staff. In this role you will be directly responsible for providing efficient and high-quality support to the CEO and executive staff, as well as safeguarding client assets. You are expected to competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting executives and exude a level of calmness and control around you. You must be able to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities.

Core Responsibilities:
Report directly to executives and senior leadership.
Conduct threat assessments of domestic and international locations and liaise with the executive support staff to address and mitigate security concerns.
Conduct security advances and coordinate protective services for senior executives both domestic and international.
Respond to incidents involving suspicious packages, protesters, media, and the public.
Participate in the planning of company events to ensure a safe and secure venue for executives and provide special security arrangements for events involving senior executives.
Coordinate with third party protective details as necessary.
Support and execute other security projects as assigned by the Executive Protection Lead.
Travel (both domestic and international) up to 50% of the time.

What We Value
3+ years’ experience in physical security and protective services working with executive personnel in the military, government or law enforcement space.
Experience managing contract security services.
Thorough knowledge of travels domestic and abroad outside of standard military deployments.
Thorough understanding of all local and state use of force laws.
Tier 1 Medical Qualification including CPR/First Aid/AED, state or country equivalent for all ages.
BTEC Level 3 Certification in Close Protection (current, or ability to achieve in a timely fashion) or equivalent.
Possession of a valid and current driver license.
Ability to work well both independently with others in a diverse, high-tempo environment, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Preferred:
Previous estate security experience, including remote monitoring, access control, physical security, emergency response, as well as security protocol implementation.
Prior training in defensive tactics and firearms.
Working knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
