Title: Executive Protection Manager 

Description:
The Executive Protection Manager will drive the team mission of enabling effective business by protecting critical assets and managing risk with a diverse, innovative, partner-oriented team for the client located in Northern, CA. This role will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality support directly to the C-Suite Executives and staff, as well as safeguarding critical assets. The Executive Protection Manager is expected to competently

respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the C-Suite Executives. 


Responsibilities: 

Provide high profile/overt, low profile/covert, close and covert protection coverages appropriate to the situation for the Co-founder/CEO, Co-founder/President, and their immediate family members in various environments surrounding their business and personal life activities
Conduct ongoing threat, risks, and vulnerability assessments
Provide secure, legal and safe transportation services, as needed
Conduct detailed advance work on inter-office meeting rooms, event sites, safe havens, other physical locations, and routes of travel
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, non-disclosure, and discretion regarding all corporate and personal matters, especially executive conversations and communications
Provide protection during events held or attended by the Co-founder/CEO, Co-founder/President, and their immediate family members
Communicate with other Global Physical Security teams to identify and/or mitigate potential security threats as it relates to Lyft Executives and Lyft employees
Develop, enhance, implement, and execute the Executive Protection team best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency response plans
Develop and maintain relationships with executive protection professionals, local law enforcement agencies, directors of security, and local venue security representatives that our Co-founder/CEO and Co-founder/President attends
Provide customer service with special consideration for executive preferences
Represent the core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence
Provide close protection and other security-related functions for the client during domestic and/or international assignments
Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments
Ensure vehicles are in clean and safe operating conditions at all times
Respond to emergencies and perform first aid medical procedures, as needed
Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise at the client's residence and/or events
Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner 


Experience: 

Excellent oral and written communication
Have high levels of integrity/trustworthiness
The ability to function and thrive as a member of a team environment
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills
The ability to communicate in a clear, precise and concise manner both verbally and in writing
Legally possess a firearm: CA Guard Card, Exposed Firearm Permit and CCW or HR218/Leosa
Valid CA Driver's License
Valid first aid/CPR/AED & Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) certificate
10+ Years of Operational Experience
5+ Years of Private Sector Leadership Experience
