Job Description
We are recruiting for our client a specialist Executive Close Protection Officer with an Intelligence background and with Developed Vetting DV Clearance, or the ability to hold it. This is not a normal CP role.
The role involves a close working relationship with the CEO, other members of the Executive Committee as well as the executive support team, therefore a high standard of professional conduct is essential.
You will also hold responsibility for wider security measures at the client's London Headquarters, acting as facility security controller.
Key areas of the position are:
Conducting advance work and reporting on gathered intelligence.
Performing mobile and static low profile/covert protection and counter surveillance in a solo practitioner capacity.
Liaison with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise.
Working with the corporate Head of Security to coordinate all movements and security of the CEO and other Executive Committee members.
Perform effective route planning and maintain effective situational awareness.
Delivery of threat briefs to VIPs.
Performing executive protection and emergency response functions, as necessary, to ensure the principal protection of the CEO and other Executive Committee members.
Providing safe, comfortable and efficient transportation and protective services acting as security driver, principally in support of the CEO and other Executive Committee members.
Applicants need to have the following experience:-
Operated in a corporate, international business environment.
Working internationally, including building cultural awareness of business travel destinations.
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to professionally and successfully converse with Executives, clients, etc.
Possess extensive professional experience as a security driver for VIPs/Executives/Dignitaries etc
Location: London with domestic and international travel required. The ideal candidate will live in West or Central London (with capacity for safe and secure management of the Executive vehicle).
Hours: full time with an expectation of supporting a 24/7 international business, working weekends, late hours and holidays may be required.
Rate: very competitive and will be discussed at interview.

Qualifications
SIA Close Protection Licence - Essential
UKSV Security Clearance to DV (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid Certificate
Full in date clean UK driving licence
Experience as a Facility Security Controller (List X/N) (desirable)
