JOB INTRODUCTION:
Supports the PSD TL in the command and control of the PSD, ensures that team members are adequately informed, skilled, equipped and supervised to conduct their duties safely, in compliance with the Host Nation’s rules & regulations, G4S policies, Handbook, Service Agreement and SOPs, contractual obligations as well as the Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Take the full responsibilities of a Team Leader when on leave or if deemed necessary. Ensures that G4S Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed at all times.
Submits the required documentation (BOS) in a timely manner for the approval of PSD missions in accordance to G4S SOPs and Host Nation’s rules & regulations.
Gathers and analyse information/ intelligence required for the planning, rehearsal and safe execution of a PSD mission.
Liaise/ meet with the client/s in an appropriate manner.
Prepare and conduct briefings to PSD team members, clients/s, and management during the planning and execution of a PSD mission.
Reports all incidents according to the Host Nation’s rules and regulations, G4S policies and SOPs.
Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identifies and resolve issues and conflicts within the PSD; where appropriate escalate these to TL for visibility.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise PSD team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Assists the TL to plan, coordinate, and administrate the day to day team administration and training.
Accurately compile and on time submits the required PSD team returns.
Assist with performance evaluations as per G4S directives and mentor all personnel through formal channels.
Execute any other tasks commensurate to the PSD DTL’s role as deemed appropriate by the TL, Project Manager or Operations Manager.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Supports the Team Leader in the command and control of the mission, to ensure that team members are equipped and supervised in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures.
In consultation with the Team Leader, he is dually responsible for ensuring the team fully understand and remain compliant with the Rules for the Use of Force (RUF) and Graduated Force Response (GFR).
Assisting in the planning and execution of missions as directed by the Team Leader.

Dually responsible with the Team Leader for vehicle maintenance and oversight.
Comprehension of the need to comply with local security forces’ directives whilst operating.
Responsible with the Team Leader for ensuring communications checks are conducted prior to mission commencement.
Responsible with the Team Leader for maintaining the communications link with Company Operations Room management during the mission with an understanding of Operational Communications back up plan in the event of communication breakdown.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
SIA licence holder
Recognised CP course
Qualified in either First Person on Scene L3 (FPOS-I) or First Response Emergency Care (FREC3)
Minimum of 5 years military experience
Experience in working within Iraq O&G sector
Commercial field experience within PSC sector
Experience in the training of multi-national personnel/environment.
Very good in verbal and excellent in written English communication skills.
Good client liaison skills.
Proven supervisory skills, ability to work unsupervised and under pressure in a fast paced, high risk environment.
Proven map reading skills.
Proven safe weapon handling skills.
Competent skills in radio communication procedures and in the operation of the vehicles’ communication and navigational equipment.
Ability to administer First Aid and CPR.
Physically fit and proactive approach to work.
