Serving as a senior member of the Global Security team, the Head of Protective Services develops the strategy and program facilitation of several key security disciplines: Travel & Expat Security, Executive Protection, Event Security, Workplace Violence Risk Management and Security Risk Intelligence. Manage supplier relationships and service agreements with program providers. In each of the discipline areas, this role is tasked with creating new management systems; from the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to executive reporting. It is critical to have a strong knowledge in geopolitical situations.

What do you get to do in this position?
Travel & ExPat Security:
- Manage and improve the company’s travel security program to ensure proper duty of care
- Support regional security leads and business leaders in the response to events affecting business travelers and ExPats
- Develop and revise awareness training relevant to the Traveler and ExPat communities
- Ensure proper communication techniques and tools are leveraged for traveler and ExPat notifications during crisis events
Security Risk Intelligence & Analytics:
- Provides guidance to the Cyber Threat Intelligence Team on opportunities to converge threat and risk intelligence capabilities
- Develop and provide routine bespoke risk forecasts to key business leaders (i.e. regional risk reports, geopolitical forecasts, business disruptions risks, etc.) to enable situational awareness and intelligence led planning and decisions
Executive Protection:
- Develop and implement strategies to deliver EP services that address the vulnerabilities and subsequent security needs of the CEO and key leaders.
- Coordinate the EP assessments at the office, home and during travel
- Provide or manage the close protection services for executives for increased threat levels
- Identifies, analyzes, mitigate and monitors the risks to executives
Workplace Violence Risk Management:
- Leads the development of a standard workplace violence risk management framework and policy
- Identification of gaps and provide improvement recommendations to regional threat assessment teams
- Act as an escalation point for extreme cases and manage vetted partners for psychology / mental health cases
- Develop training programs for different audience groups: all staff, front line managers, regional threat assessment teams, HR leaders, etc.
Event Security:
- Leads the event security program strategy and collaborates closely with Regional Security Leaders for the execution of securing employees, as well any sensitive intellectual property, at offsite events
- Coordinates with Regional Security Leaders, Facility Managers, Cyber Security, etc., in the planning and delivery of security services for critical meeting and events such as Board of Director’s meetings, Pulse events, senior leader events and other events that create exposure to the company and attendees

Qualifications
This job might be for you if:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; security, management, or business
-Certified professional (e.g. CPP, PSP, CEM, CMCE, etc.)
-10+ years of security experience
-5+ years of global security leadership in the listed key areas
Key skills:
- Executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship building skills; effective at building trust and the ability to deal directly with stakeholders across all levels of the company
- Ability to create and manage a budget effectively
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to take initiative
- High comfort level with travel, cultural differences and honed skills related to logistical management
- Must have a thorough understanding of procurement processes to ensure best value and proper assessment of provider's service capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of geopolitical trends
