Job Overview
To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.
Main Duties
To respond to all incidents and follow escalation procedures
Ensure company dress code is maintained to a high standard at all times
To have a thorough knowledge of routine and emergency procedures and be able to respond efficiently, and appropriately, to any eventuality
To ensure preparations are made in advance for any events, ensuring officers are fully briefed and ready for the task
Ensure mandatory training requirements are completed and kept up-to-date
Ensure daily and ad-hoc briefings are issued to a high standard
To be aware of Hostile Reconnaissance techniques that may be employed against the building/s or occupants therein and to be vigilant at all times.
Operate a safe working environment in line with company risk assessments and assignment instructions
Manage the staff rota, ensuring adequate cover for sickness, holiday and other absences
Manage and monitor the welfare and engagement levels of the team
Manage the performance and conduct of the team, in line with company policies and procedures
Single Point of Contact between organisers for events requiring Protective Services
Building on relationships between the community businesses
Regular liaison with the Local police, organising events for crime prevention
Behavioural Detection operations planning
Monthly reporting requirement to Senior Management
Collaboratively working with other disciplines
Effective communication with the LSOC
Subject Matter Expert within Protective Services
Any other security duties directed by the business or client that falls within your level of training and licensing
What we are looking for
Previous Security Experience
SIA License
SC Clearance desirable
Good literacy and communication skills and have excellent verbal and written English.
Be computer and software literate.
The nature of the role is such that it is essential that the post holder has and will maintain an excellent record of attendance and timekeeping.
