We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Primary Care Nurse to join our vibrant
As a Primary Care Nurse, you will work as part of a very small multi-disciplinary primary healthcare team delivering general medical and emergency services as well as elements of occupational health to G4S personnel and other entitled personnel.
We are looking for someone who is able to work unsupervised, and is responsible for the delivery of appropriate assessment; planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs, medical screening and advice to patients within their professional competence.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Assess the needs of patients against a recognised model of care, implement and evaluate care ensuring patients receive care according to practice guidelines and delegate care accordingly; this includes prioritising treatment and care.
The delivery of minor injuries care, advice and treatment.
The implementation of nurse led well woman clinics and chronic disease management within PHC Protocols and Guidelines.
Dispensing duties (e.g.Patient Group Directions ( PGDs), and monitor medication consistent with standards, protocols and legislation. This potentially includes immunisation and vaccinations and prescribing medication according to local protocols.
Responsible for country wide medical operational delivery, including training.

The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of the following:
Full Covid vaccination status (two vaccinations).
Registered Nurse with live registration on Parts 1 of the NMC Register (or equivalent country registration).
Professional and specialist knowledge in primary or occupational healthcare acquired through post graduate degree/diploma or actively working towards this and can demonstrate equivalent level of competence and experience in clinical assessment and diagnosis.
The successful candidate should also be willing to undertake specific training to fulfil competency for the role (e.g.ALS, ACLS) and specific role training as appropriate).
Successful candidates must meet the screening and vetting requirements before they can be appointed. Due to Iraq employment restrictions, candidates must be under 53 years old. Due to the nature of the position candidates must be female .
