Position Description
Valiant is seeking Airport Security Management Specialist Staff Instructors to work at various OCONUS locations.
*This position is contingent on contract award*
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years of aviation/airport security related work experience may be substituted for one (1) year of education.
Eight (8) years of experience in aviation security work; at least three
(3) years of experience with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) from the Security Manual (Document 8973, most recent edition) and Annex 17 Security, particularly in areas related to airport security measures of passenger and baggage screening, cargo handling, access control and perimeter security, and aircraft security.
Familiarity with airport security operations for implementing, coordinating, managing, and/or inspecting airport security operations including personnel and equipment.
Experience with coordination and/or liaison with foreign aviation security officials.
Experience with airport security oversight for implementing, coordinating, managing, and/or inspecting airport security personnel, equipment, and operations. Operational supervisory experience in at least two areas of airport security including access control and perimeter security, passenger and baggage screening, cargo handling, and aircraft security.
