Essential Requirements
Excellent fitness level
At least 3 years military or police service with at least one operational deployment to a conflict zone.
Experience of operating as a PSD Team Leader with a recognized armed security provider for at least 2 years in Iraq, Libya or Afghanistan.
Valid Close Protection qualification from a recognized training provider
Qualified & experienced in firearms use - Assault Rifle and Pistol
At least 1 year of light vehicle driving experience.
Proficient in the use of communication equipment including UHF Radio and Satellite Phone.
Proficient in navigation and the use of GPS and satellite tracking systems.
Certified and in-date Medical Qualification, BLS, FPOS, MIRA or FREC issued by an internationally recognized instructional body
Intermediate English
For Team Medic practical experience of Basic Life Support, Emergency Medic Responder and Bleeding Control for Injured, First Person on Scene and Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support or equivalent set
Experience of working in active ambulance care or in a medical emergency room is an advantage
Job Description
Command, control and coordination of all aspects of the delivery of security services, as directed in the tasking schedule, and in accordance with SOPs
Provide mobile armed protection to client personnel.
Management and reporting of all incidents and emergencies in accordance with SOPs
Accounting for and ensuring the serviceability of all equipment including B6 armored vehicles allocated to the team, reporting any deficiencies or repairs as required.
Ensuring that health, safety and environmental protection measures are managed in all aspects of service delivery
Ensure training standards, code of conduct, dress and turnout of all PSD team members is maintained at all times.
Team Medic performs medical tasks, including control of medical equipment.
Team Medic act as 2IC
