This is an exciting opportunity to provide physical security for Group Executives, incorporating high/low profile close protection and counter surveillance to the Group Executive and associated residences. You will advise Group Executives on any changes to the threat level based on threat and risk evaluation. Also, you will be responsible for providing an emergency response when required.
Day to day you will:
Provide and maintain a close protection capability to support and protect Group Executives, including the selection and management of close protection contractors
Conduct effective and discreet counter surveillance in support of the Principal
Maintain a database of information / intelligence on routes, venues and residences
Maintain an accurate and current intelligence database, including information on suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Principal’s home addresses and frequently visited locations
Maintain contracted residential security teams (RST) when operating in support of the Principal or other Group Executives
Be prepared to accompany the Principal to countries with higher levels of risk in order to provide close protection and provide personal security advice
Provide in depth written risk assessments, security plans, operational briefing documents and post operation reports for both domestic and overseas assignments and for residential locations
Conduct Risk Assessments in support of the wider Protective Security Function
What we’re looking for from you
Have in depth knowledge and experience of operating in a corporate security environment and managing the delivery of Close Protection, Counter Surveillance, defensive/evasive driving to high-net worth individuals in the UK and other countries in Europe
Be Close Protection trained to a minimum of Security Industry Authority (SIA) standard
Have extensive experience of Close Protection driving including two car drills (advanced driving course qualification preferred)
Be medically trained to a minimum standard of FREC 3 (Medicine In Remote Areas (MIRA) preferred)
Qualifications
SIA licence and registration (frontline close protection operator)
