The Role
Providing safe and secure personal protection for assigned Moderna Therapeutics Executive Committee (EC) members - including security advice at their residence and for their family - in addition to providing meeting security for EC and Board meetings as assigned, world-wide.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Deliver the operational and tactical elements of Moderna EP strategy and implement the associated SOPs and working practices. Working in collaboration with stakeholders develop and implement procedures and practices.
Responsible for the daily security and safety of the CEO, & or Moderna executive committee member (as appropriate), including the planning and delivery of seamless journey-management and personal protection - by land and air transportation.
Responsible for the security of the Board of Directors (BoD) and other assigned VIPs, including international business leaders and public officials attending Moderna meetings.
Conduct advance security risk assessments of routes, airports, hotels and other designated venues and arrange proportionate, intelligence/threat-led security control measures with site risk owners.
Carry out wider intelligence-led risk assessments of all EC travel in close coordination with public & private partnerships and implement proportionate risk-reduction strategies and practical security risk control measures.
Conduct residential security advice for the EC and provide timely & accurate security recommendations.
Prepare, test and adjust crisis management plans (including Kidnap & Extortion, close quarter attacks scenarios, medical/casualty evacuation, etc) and rehearse incident responses across a range of scenarios; close coordination with the Moderna Therapeutics Emergency Management procedures and emergency services.
Domestic & International travel as required/appropriate.
Here’s What You’ll Bring To The Table

BS/BA in a related field required, plus minimum of 10 years of close protection/executive protection with 2 years in a corporate environment (in an unarmed capacity).
Threat analysis & the development of Threat & Vulnerability Assessments (TVA’s).
Advanced defensive/evasive driving and legal requirements whilst driving.
Close protection techniques and anti/counter-surveillance certifications.
Technical Counter Surveillance Measures experience/certifications.
Experienced in the development of open sourced intelligence collection & dissemination.
