Job Description
Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for the Site Security Manager – BIETC Campus to join their team in Bangalore, India. Reporting to the International Security Regional Security Leader India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA), this manager will be responsible for leading the Security and Fire Protection (S&FP) organization and activity at the Boeing India Engineering and Technical Center (BIETC) Campus, Bangalore, India. In due course, this role will report directly to the International Security India Country Leader, once established.
This role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Manage and Lead all day to day activities across all aspects of site security and fire protection’s multiple disciplines:
Manage and lead all S&FP personnel at the Campus
Develop and maintain site security and fire protection strategies relevant to the campus
Provide Business Partner Support to ensure seamless delivery of Site Security & Fire Services
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with site executives, customers, stakeholders, and peers
Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and provides input on organizational business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Promote employee recognition and build an organizational culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce
Enforce company rules and policies regarding ethical behavior, diversity, safety, security, use of company property and time charging
Provide decisive oversight of daily operations:
Fire protection, prevention and operations, emergency response
Maintain and enhance relationships with external agencies/partners
Provide badging operations, access control and administration
Lock and Key
Lobby Security Desk
Threat Management
Guarding Services Contract Management accountability (purchased services)
Emergency preparedness and business continuity
Building Security Control Plan (BSCP)
Security and fire protection related event planning, coordination and support
Support Record Keeping and Documentation (RIM)
Compliance to all training requirements
Special projects
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree and typically 12 or more year's related work experience is required. Masters degree would be desirable.
Experienced security professional.
Prior experience of new building/campus projects including physical security design, monitoring installation and commissioning of electronic security systems and fitout standards aligned to National Building Code of India
Prior experience of operational risks, incident response, and advisory support
Previous security experience in India
Industrial Security background
Have detailed knowledge, and practical experience of, security risk assessment/management/mitigation processes, plans, and practices
Prior experience of networking with industry peers for best practice benchmarking through organizations such as OSAC, ASIS, ACSG, etc.
