About the Role
As a Manager Security Investigations, you will be responsible for managing and conducting all Qatar Airways (QR) security investigations. You will be required to design and develop a robust QR Group Security investigation procedure in line with company policies and applicable local law, ensuring that the procedures dovetail with other QR business units and are fully documented. You will seek to continuously enhance the QR Group Security approach to investigations. You will also train QR Group Security personnel to conduct investigations in a fair and impartial manner achieving professional outcomes based upon evidenced facts that can both withstand judicial scrutiny and protect the business.
Tactical / Operational Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the planning, management, and progress of investigative plans and ensure they are conducted in accordance with legislative requirements with timelines and outputs consistent with company standards and values.
Lead and review all aspects of security investigations on behalf of the QR Group. Initiate, manage and direct the course of criminal, complex, and sensitive investigations in accordance with the national legislation of Qatar, as well as the country in which the investigation is being conducted and Corporate Company Policies. Manage investigations of a criminal, complex and sensitive nature - these include investigations into operational incidents, allegations of corruption and misconduct, theft, fraud, and violence across the Qatar Airways network.
Lead and oversee preparation and conduct of interviews in order to not only determine further actions based upon information obtained but also to ensure professional, credible, and evidenced standards as well as quality control.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must hold a relevant College or University Degree (Bachelor's or above) and be an accredited investigator.
Essential
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred
Previous experience in airline, airport, and/or aircraft operator security.
Aviation security qualifications.
Team leadership / managerial skills.
Ability to train other members of the QR Group Security team.
Additional, qualifications in general business, security or similar/relevant areas, and project management.
