The Executive Protection Team Lead is responsible for leading an Executive Protection team in San Francisco, CA and ensuring the client’s safety and satisfaction. This role requires an individual that can lead a team in a dynamic environment and posses the physical, operational and tactical capabilities to address wide-ranging executive protection related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the principal(s) are productive by communicating, planning and executing security operations in a way that enables them to do more.
Leading and demonstrating excellent team-ability (collaboration, communication, cooperation, etc.) in a cross-functional work environment.
Gathering and assessing information (sometimes under stress) while exercising sound judgement, logic and sound reasoning in the decision-making process, and escalating issues appropriately.
Work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
Adapting to changing operational requirements.
Multi-tasking, prioritizing and completing tasks in an organized, efficient and effective manner.
Performing routing administrative functions.
Interacting with all levels of corporate management, internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel.
Traveling (domestically and internationally) in support of protective operations.
The ability to work irregular or extended hours with an ever-changing schedule. Typical schedules include overtime, nights, holidays and weekends on a regular basis.
Providing covert and overt protection to the designated clients, properties and personnel.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of full-time executive protection experience in a dynamic program (embedded program experience preferred)
Relevant security and/or close protection experience to include government, law enforcement, military and/or private security.
Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
California Guard Card, CPR Certification and ability to obtain any additional license/certification that is needed.
Must have prior leadership/management experience.
Advanced medical training is preferred
Experience in law enforcement (task force, SWAT, SRT), military special operations and/or High Threat Security operations is preferred.
Defensive handgun/Concealed Carry training is preferred.
