Location: Africa (Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, and Niger).
Sincerus is seeking Small Unit Tactics Trainers for work in various Sub-Saharan African countries partnered with the US State Department's Africa Peacekeeping Program (AFRICAP). SAIC supports the Bureau of African Affairs of the U.S. Department of State on the AFRICAP III IDIQ through the provision of training and advisory services, equipment procurement, and logistical support and construction services to African countries.
Roles and Responsibilities. Small Unit Tactics Trainers will provide training and mentoring to host nation combat arms companies and platoons with a focus on troop leading procedures, border security, small unit tactics and fieldcraft. Trainers will develop selected host nation officers and noncommissioned officers as unit training subject matter experts as part of a train the trainer program. Trainers provide input for the refinement, implementation, and evaluation of all training and support materials. Trainers provide lessons learned for each training session to support continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Fluent in reading and speaking French at the 3/3 level.
Former Combat Arms officer or noncommissioned officer
At least two (2) years' experience in conducting military training.
Desired Requirements
Experience training or operations with militaries in G5 Sahel countries (Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, and Niger).
