Who are we looking for

This role will serve as Nike Global Safety and Security’s primary point of contact for the protection of Nike’s executive team and events globally.The candidate will build and maintain lasting internal and external business relationships to influence the future of executive and event security.

What will you work on

The candidate will manage multiple key security-related programs and initiatives, ensuring all efforts are aligned and supporting strategic enterprise objectives. They will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Nike Global Security field teams, Nike executives, managers, employees, local and federal law enforcement agencies, and security/safety suppliers. You will identify gaps in processes and resources, develop methodologies to address these gaps, in partnership with the broader Global Safety and Security team, while driving the strategic vision of executive and event security for Nike, Inc. As the primary focal point for emergency issues involving Nike executives, you will be required to remain on-call 24 x 7 and available to provide executive protection as vital.

Who will you work with

You will build and maintain lasting internal and external business relationships with Nike’s executives and their administrative staff, Safety and Security partners, flight teams, Board of Directors and meeting/event teams to influence the future of Executive Protection and Event Security throughout the enterprise.


What you bring:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5 years of security program/project management experience in a corporate/private setting with a proven track record of success in driving business outcomes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of generating trust and forming alliances with internal and external partners.
Extensive experience managing close protection and event security operations in a complex, global environment.
Experience working with Protective and Intelligence teams.
Experience conducting risk and residential security assessments.
Demonstrated record managing vendors/suppliers and controlling costs, increasing efficiencies and identifying growth opportunities.
Working knowledge of security systems (e.g. Lenel, AMAG, Genetec, etc.).
Ability to pass our pre-employment background investigation.
Ability to be flexible and travel both domestically and internationally with limited notice
