Senior Armed Security Guard (Security Guard Force) – Full-Time
Location: U.S. Embassy & Consulates - Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich

Key Requirements:
Must be a German or EU citizen or have a valid current work authorization for Germany
Senior Armed Security Guards shall demonstrate command (Level 3 on a 4 level scale) of theGerman and English
A minimum of five years of combined experience in the military, police, or guard force
Must complete and maintain firearms training and certifications in accordance with German laws and the requirements of the U.S. Government contract
Completion of background, reference, and physical suitability checks
Experience in physical security and access control
Trained in the use of physical methods of control and restraint
Experienced in basic communications and radio use/procedures
German driver's license

Position Duties:
Oversight of access control points and special function teams such as mobile patrol units.
Conducting on-the-job training of subordinates
Performing duties require special skills or increased responsibilities other than supervision of personnel
Additional duties as required of Armed Security Guards on the contract:
Performing security duties at fixed/static, walking/patrolling, or vehicle mobile roving patrol posts
Helping local authorities in thwarting criminal and terrorist acts against protected populations or facilities
Performing access control duties identification checks or personnel screening to limit entry only to authorized personnel or visitors
Operating of walk-through metal detectors, hand-held metal detectors, electronic hydraulic barriers or gates, and special monitoring devices as required by the contract



Required Education:
Must have completed a ninth grade (class) or primary school with 5 years of combined experience in the military, police, or guard force with a preference for more advanced educational skills or relevant training



Senior Armed Security Guard - Full Time

Location: US Embassy and Consulates - Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich



Key requirements:
Must be a German or EU citizen or have a valid work permit for Germany
High-level armed security forces must demonstrate command (level 3 on a 4-level scale) in German and English
At least five years of combined experience in the military, police or security team
Must complete and maintain the training and certification of firearms in accordance with German laws and the requirements of the contract with the U.S. government
Completion of background, reference and aptitude tests
Experience in physical security and access control
Trained in the application of physical methods of control and restraint
Experience in basic communication and radio use / procedures
German driving licence
