This role will see you provide operational leadership to a dedicated security team. Prior experience of managing security teams in a corporate environment is essential.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Experience managing the delivery of operational security at a corporate (or similar)site.
An experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop staff.
Proven experience managing large teams (20+)
Experience implementing security strategy and policy.
A passion for service excellence.
Experience of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
SIA License holder.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Managing the delivery of site security
Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
Staff training and development
Incident management and response
Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings and information
Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
Oversee the delivery of control room services
Cross-functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
Undertake risk assessments
Liaise with emergency services when required
Management of control room services
Management of 3rd party suppliers
