Close Personal Protection (CPP) Driver - Australian Embassy Kabul

Role Requirements
Security Clearance – must hold or be eligible to obtain and be in the process of obtaining Security Clearance or an Australian national Security clearance and at the min level of Secret (NV1)
All Close Personal Protection (CPP) personnel to have previous military or law enforcement experience of not less than five (5) years with an excellent record of conduct. Must not have a criminal record and must not have been dishonourably discharged from service or convicted under the Defence Force Disciplinary Act (1982) (or equivalent) or terminated from their employment
All CPP or other qualifications obtained in policing or military roles, and/or relevant CPP or other qualifications or accreditation obtained through a recognized private sector registered training organization
To hold one of the following qualifications (in-date as a minimum): HLTAID005 Provide First Aid In Remote Situations, Qualsafe’s FREC 3, MIRA or PHTLS-TFR
All CPP personnel must have served as a member of a personal security detail or a close personal protection team for at least one (1) year in a high-threat environment
Sound knowledge and relevant skill set regarding the planning and conduct of CPP operations in a high-risk environment
Experience with Electronic Countermeasures Equipment
Drivers licence to operate an armoured vehicle
Excellent communication skills, with experience in multiple levels of communication.

Services
Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of armed mobile security services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of Australian Embassy, Kabul. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include:
Operating as a driver of a B6 armoured vehicle as part of a mobile protection team.
Operating as a vehicle commander as part of a mobile protection team.
Acting as a PPO to Diplomatic clients as part of a mobile protection team.
Being able to work alone and as part of a team with both expats and host country nationals.
Undertaking any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines
